In words and deeds, Sara Duterte as Vice President arrogantly dares to project and picture herself as Queen of the Queendom of the Philippines!
Whoa, she said: “Kung sino man komokontra sa Confidential funds ay komokontra sa kapayapaan. Kung sino ang kumokontra sa kapayapaan ay kalaban ng bayan.”
Then, while traveling lately to some destination in NCR, at Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, lo and behold, the police stopped hundreds of motorists, riding in bicycles, motorbikes, cars, jeeps and buses, because “dadaan si Vice President Sara.”
Let the people judge with what this so-called “public servant” occupying the second highest political position in our country.
We understand that the police had no choice but to follow the orders of their higher-ups because it is their government job to follow orders, a precious privilege to keep their being employed as government employees, and able to support their families and keeping in line with their looking forward to a promotion to the next level they are entitled to under the PNP System.
She has been on a heartless binge enjoying the people’s money “to serve” the Filipino people.
And as the current hot news until now is, (as everybody is wondering), how she has spent practically billions of pesos while serving as Davao City Mayor, (starting when her father was catapulted to be head-of-state way back), and as ‘Vice-President’ since the past year.
The people are raising their eyebrows, scratching their heads, and asking in their minds, “Is the Philippines still a democratic republic?
Are we back to the feudal age of Kings, Queens and Emperors and Monarchs, who ruled with iron fists, loyally served by their armed knights or warriors?
And any protesting slave or subject can just be brought to prison or worse, beheaded? It looks like the country is under some form of Dictatorship!
Does the VP have a conscience? Or, is she just following the lead of the head-of-state?
Indeed, the world is probably quietly asking, “Quo Vadis, Philippines?”
