POGOs, many unlicensed, are operating allegedly still engaged in human trafficking, committing tortures, involved in money laundering, and other crimes, despite China’s appeal to stop their operations in the country. The “Appointed Son of God” Pastor Quiboloy, Cong. Teves, drug lords, killers of EJK and red-tagging victims, and many other fugitives from the rule of law are probably laughing and enjoying running circles around the law enforcers, and that includes the PNP’s high and mighty generals, and the heads of the DOJ and other judicial institutions. These are undoubtedly good governance issues.
Add to these national headaches for the President: claims about his cheating with Comelec/Smartmatic’ committing magic to barrel his way to the top political position in government (as proven by the deep analysis of the TNT and other IT professionals of the Comelec website covering the May 9, 2022 elections); rice still being sold at P60/kg or more, sadly unaffordable to most families; the millions of unemployed desperate to have jobs or able to have a decent livelihood; workers striving to have decent wages; the farmers and IPs still waiting for the promised real aid for their families; lands for the landless and homes for the homeless; the urgent demand for world-class education for the children and youth; and seriously stopping the pestering aggressive encroachment of our sovereign rights over the WPS despite our clean victory in the arbitral ruling under the UNCLOS in the Hague, and the expressed support of countries like the US, Australia, Japan, Indonesia and others in the international community.
To prove he is in-charge as president and able to carry out his mandate under oath to give justice to every Filipino, Bongbong Marcos, with the help of his VP, Sara Duterte, should take to heart and be sincere in serving the Filipino people. Solving the problems galore impacting on more than half of the more than 114 million Filipinos is his main responsibility. Can’t he just discard self-serving inane ideas like coming up with a useless new national hymn, “Bagong Pilipinas Hymn.” Or pushing for a pro-dynasty stand to revise the Constitution which is strongly promotive of Social Justice –a call for reforms to end widespread poverty in the country. The present Constitution is also emphatic about Human Rights – that covers rights to Life, Labor rights, Children and Women rights, freedoms of the Press, Speech, and Assembly, and of course, the right to Good Governance.
The Filipino people simply want to be happy with a SERVANT-LEADER head-of-state to DO HIS JOB!
