Mayor Sonny Collantes of Tanauan and Mayor Wes Gatchalian of Valenzuela City have officially formalized their sisterhood agreement, marking the start of a new chapter in the relationship between the two local governments.
This accord signifies a commitment to mutual cooperation, with a particular focus on education, economic development, technology, commerce, livelihood, tourism, disaster response, and various projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for both Tanaueños and Valenzuelanos.
During Mayor Gatchalian's visit to Tanauan, he had the opportunity to explore some of the city's notable landmarks, including the Museo ng Tanauan and the Apolinario Mabini Shrine, while also gaining insights into the major industries that drive Tanauan's economy.

Also present at the event were Congresswoman Ma. Theresa V. Collantes, Councilor BGen Ben Corona, Councilor Eric Manglo, Councilor Czylene Marqueses, and School Division Superintendent Ms. Lourdes Bermudez CESO VI, along with Pantay IHS Principal Mr. Jomel Atienza, students, teachers, and staff of the said school.
