“We’re excited to see all of the ways consumers will experiment with Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend to create fun recipes that infuse the essence of Twix into ordinary foods.”

Chocolate seasoning on your chicken wings coming right up!

Twix, the popular caramel chocolate bar from the United Kingdom, has released a new kind of product to enjoy their signature caramel shortbread chocolate.

The company created one seasoning blend called Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend, featuring chocolate caramel and cookie flavoring just like the candy bar.

This would be a tasty addition to ice cream, milkshakes, waffles and pancakes, hot chocolate, or anything else you might want to try it on.

They also want the public to get creative and try it on savory snacks, such as popcorn and chicken wings.

“We’re excited to see all of the ways consumers will experiment with Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend to create fun recipes that infuse the essence of Twix into ordinary foods,” emailed B&G Foods’ PR Senior Manager Kristin Berlew to Food & Wine’s Mike Pomranz.

“One of our favorite recipes is Twix BBQ Sauce. The recipe, which includes ketchup, honey, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, chipotle sauce, and of course, Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend, is a bold play on a traditional mole sauce and ideal for chicken wings. I suggest adding an extra sprinkle of the seasoning before serving for that ‘wow’ effect.”

So far, Twix Shakers are sold exclusively at a United States exclusive grocery store Sam’s Club last September 1.

It is speculated however, that Twix Shakers will be available online and in grocery stores later this year.

This isn’t the first time a popular food has turned its distinct flavor into a shaker seasoning.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch came out with Cinnadust for another exclusive grocery store in the U.S. this same time last year. Although these one-of-a-kind seasonings have not hit the shelves in the Philippines, we could all just imagine how chicken wings will taste like with Twix Shakers.
