YOU would not believe who Stephen Curry tapped for his collaboration for his latest signature sneaker. Hint, they are from the very famous street called Sesame.
Stephen Curry took full advantage of the NBA’s Media Day event yesterday by previewing his next Under Armour signature sneaker.
The Golden State Warriors star point guard addressed the media while wearing what’s believed to be his upcoming Under Armour Curry Flow 9.
The iconic children’s show ‘Sesame Street’ is tapped by Curry for his ‘Street Pack’ collection in the Under Armour Curry Flow 9.
Curry is teaming with the show’s Sesame Workshop through the collection, which is a nonprofit educational organization
“Curry Brand and ‘Sesame Street,’ we preach the same message,” Curry said in a statement. “It’s about supporting all kids, especially those in underserved communities who are looking for an opportunity to be their best selves.”
“This collection is an opportunity for people to use their imaginations a little bit,” Curry added.
The "Street Pack" includes seven colorways inspired by Sesame Street characters, along with shirts and other items set to hit the shelves this year.
The “Taking Cookies” sneaker gives a nod to the Cookie Monster with a blue design and a fuzzy shoe tab. “Talking Trash,” which takes inspiration from Oscar the Grouch, is designed in a gray colorway that’s meant to resemble a trash can.
Other colorways in the collection feature “Count It” for Count von Count, “Talking Trash” for Oscar the Grouch.
The two launch colorways of the Under Armour Curry Flow 9 “Street Pack” will be the “Count It'” and “Play Big” colorways and are set to drop on November 19th on Under Armour’s official website.
