Maroon 5 will take their upcoming world tour to Asia and is set to return to Manila on December

Maroon 5 is set to return to the Philippines after adding Manila to its list of concert venues as part of their 2022 World Tour at the Mall of Asia Arena on December 8, as announced on their official Instagram page today.

The post confirms the addition of new cities and more tour dates for countries in Asia, including Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Thailand.

“We’ve added one last stop on our 2022 World Tour! We look forward to seeing you at the end of the year!” it stated.

Maroon 5 will kickoff their world tour in the Americas starting in

Quebec, Canada; and Orlando, Florida, in the US, as per the tour’s official page.

Details such as seating plans and ticket prices have yet to be finalized.

The band will be back in the country after three years as they last performed in Manila in 2019 for their Red Pill Blues Tour after holding two concerts prior, in 2012 and three years later for their Maroon 5 World Tour 2015.

The band is a six-piece group led by lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton and multi-instrumentalist and bassist Sam Farrar.

Maroon 5 is known for its hit songs “Payphone,” “Girls Like You,” “She Will Be Loved” and “Moves Like Jagger,” among others after recently releasing their seventh studio album, JORDI.

Their latest album features the likes of Blackbear, Stevie Nicks, Bantu, H.E.R., and more, which features the single "Memories" and their collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion "Beautiful Mistakes."

Aside from the world tour,the band is also celebrating 20 years of their beloved debut album, Songs About Jane, which features hits such as 'She Will Be Loved,' 'This Love,' 'Sunday Morning,' and 'Harder to Breathe.'
