Adding to her 4-game streak of double-double performance, Jack Animam with almost a perfect shooting day making 13 of her 15 shots on her way to 28 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, five blocks, and three steals in another import-worthy performance.

Jack Animam played yet again another monster game for Radnicki Kragujevac, saving their back-to-back loss with a win over Duga Sabac, 87-72, in the First Women's Basketball League of Serbia Saturday (October 23) at Jezero Hall.

Adding to her 4-game streak of double-double performance, Animam with almost a perfect shooting day making 13 of her 15 shots on her way to 28 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, five blocks, and three steals in another import-worthy performance.

This improves her team Radnicki to a 2-2 record.

It’s been a tough stretch for the FIlipina’s team as they experienced a back-to-back loss on the road in the last two weeks despite her heroics.

Animam was not the only Radnicki player to score in double figures. She was supported by Andrea Glomazic who had 17 points and seven rebounds, while Minela Mehovic had 16 points and Milica Indic added 15 points.

Even though Duga tried to win the game from behind, time was not on their side as Radnicki went to hold on to their lead. Duga Sabac momentarily gained their rhythm after bringing the game into a one-possession lead, 68-66, with Radnicki still holding the lead. Animam, however, grabbed a huge rebound and shot the basket for a 70-66 upper hand.

It was a disappointing loss for Duga as the loss ended their 2-game winning streak.

Though it is still too early to tell, Animam may just be running for the MVP title in the inaugural Women’s Basketball League.

So far, the 6’5 forward is averaging 25 points and 15 rebounds per game, which carries both offense and defense for Radnicki. Not to mention her streak of making 20+ points and 10+ rebounds in a game is now at 4.

Radnicki will have a much needed one week break before playing another game againstVrsac on October 30.
