A men’s cosmetics company in Japan has tapped an unlikely source – a highly popular manga franchise “Attack on Titan”– for their newest ad campaign obviously riding on the series’ popularity while highlighting their various men’s products.
AS fans wait for the second half of the fourth season of the Japanese manga series “Attack on Titan,” an unlikely source has tapped the series’ creator for its advertising.
Shiseido Uno, a Japanese cosmetics company’s beauty brand for men, has recently joined forces with Hajime Isayama’s anime series for its latest skincare campaign.
Launched in 1992, Shiseido Uno focuses on hair styling products, skincare, and body care for men that are “natural and smart.”
Comprising four different commercials, the visuals showcase previous scenes from the series with characters conversing about how they suffer from dry skin.
Featuring Uno’s new All-in-One series, characters like Eren Yeager, Reiner Braun, Levi Ackerman and select Titans are seen introducing the UV Perfection Gel, Cream Perfection and Vital Cream Perfection offerings.
The series of 60, 30, 20 and 15-second commercials repurposes scenes animated by MAPPA with new lines that have characters discuss their skin issues.
Following an exciting ending, Uno’s new All-in-One series is introduced with characters line Eren Yeager, Reiner Braun, Levi Ackerman and even Titans showing off their glowing skin.
The Uno All-in-One series features the UV PERFECTION GEL, CREAM PERFECTION and VITAL CREAM PERFECTION products.
Ever since the “Attack On Titan” manga series was first printed in 2009 and the anime aired in 2013, the franchise has become one of the most popular in Japan.
The show's unequalled popularity has catapulted “Attack On Titan” to be a fan favorite all over the world, from Tokyo to Paris, and Los Angeles.
The manga series is still selling out in Japan while the anime is currently on its 4th season with the 1s half-season finale recently airing. (NP)
