Hannah Arnold to compete for the 60th Miss International pageant this December in Japan.
After a two-year hiatus, the International Culture Association (ICA) has announced the return of the 60th Miss International pageant in December 2022.
“Miss International 2022 will be held this December in Japan,” organizers of the Japanese-based international pageant said in their announcement in their social media page.
“Prior to the arrival of all the delegates, we will make sure that each one has been taking part in various activities that promote the United Nations; Sustainable Development Goals,” it said.
“Beauties for SDGs is Miss International’s humble way to utilize our national titleholders’ influence in spreading awareness, as well as actively taking part in SDGs initiatives in their own country or region.”
The last Miss International pageant was conducted in 2019 as both the 2020 and 2021 editions were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Arnold is vying for the 7th Miss International title for the country. The Philippines has claimed the title six times: Gemma Cruz (1964), Aurora Pijuan (1970), Melanie Marquez (1979), Lara Quigaman (2005), Bea Santiago (2013), and Kylie Verzosa (2016).
She is known as a passionate advocate for children education during the Binibining Pilipinas pageant. Arnold also stole hearts during her performance at the swimsuit and evening gown competition.
