The Philippines was rated 33 out of 100 by Transparency International in term of corruption index citing the restrictions to freedom of expression and association. But this was debunked by Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez who said that the Duterte administration has never curtailed freedom of expression.

The Senate Blue Ribbon committee has released a draft report on its 18 virtual hearings on the anomalous transaction between the government and Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp., which was awarded supply contract for P42 billion by the Department of Budget and Management-Procurement Service for pandemic supplies that were found overpriced, substandard and worse, not delivered.  The draft must be signed by 11 of 20 panel members.
