After taking in Jessy Mendiola as his daughter-in-law when she tied the knot April last year with Luis Manzano, Edu is soon to officially welcome another in-law in his fold.
Addie Manzano, Doods’ daughter with model Rina Samson, has recently announced her engagement with her boyfriend Jared Glassman.
That announcement has excited the father who was taping “Ang Probinsiyano” up north when the good news reached him.
The event also made the Manzanos of Bacolod City joyful and happy. Being a Negrense, Edu is proud of his kinship with the Visayans. By virtue of blood ties, that makes Addie a Visayan as well.
In his Instagram posts, Doods displayed his photo with the little girl Addie, Amanda Danielle’s pet name. Such nostalgia. “This little lady just got engaged to a great guy. Didn’t dawn on me that Addie is now all at 28,” he exclaimed online.
Edu thanked his recent trip to the US last year where he had a filial bonding with Addie and Jared and also with his other son with Rina, Enzo Manzano. “Am very happy I went to New York last October to see how much they loved each other,” he said.
Both the future father-in-law and son-in-law couldn’t wait to make their bond official.
“Welcome to the MANZANO Family, Mr. Jared Glassman. I wish you both all the love in the world,” noted Doods.
“Thank you Tito!!!! I could not wait any longer to make it official forever,” replied Jared.
