CHANEL Latorre, daughter of Villareal, Western Samar, is excited about the airing of her daily soap opera, “Legal Wives” in GMA Network.
“I love this show. This is a different project for me in my entire acting career,” said Chanel,
who feels elated that she was a choice of Zig Dulay himself, the director of the show, to portray a very important character in the story.
“I also love working with my fellow actors in the series like Andrea Torres, Bianca Umali, Alice Dixson and the rest of the cast but especially with Dennis Trillo,” beamed Latorre, who has been proud of Villareal town where her family is politically attached.
According to Chanel, she has known Dennis for a long time and acting with him is inspiring.
“I have this affinity with Dennis,” Latorre quipped.
Chanel plays Faizah, a victim of a traumatic experience in Marawi City. In the course of healing her trauma in the hands of unscrupulous males, Trillo, who portrays Ismael, takes care of his cousin Faizah. In her Facebook posts, Latorre writes proudly about Dennis.
“Ito pala ang T'nged (pinsan) ko na si (This is my cousin) Ismael. As Faizah, I consider him my knight in shining armor. He is truly a virtuous and inspiring man. Sa totoong buhay, meron din talagang mga Ismael sa buhay ko. Ang mga pinsan kong lalaki ay kasing gwapo, kasing kisig at kasing (In real life, I also have many Ismaels, my boy cousins who are also as handsome, virile) reliable at protective din tulad ni Ismael),” noted Latorre.
