It was a negation of the story that FPJ and Janice Jurado were lovers in the past.
According to Tom Olivar and Gerry Roman, the latter one of the Board of Directors of the Katipunan ng mga Artista ng Pelikulang Pilipino at Telebisyon (KAPPT) or Actors Guild.
In a TikTok item which was already allegedly taken out, Tom and Gerry denied that Jurado was a girlfriend of the Action King.
"Madalas kaming kasama ni FPJ noon, ni hindi man lang namin nakita 'yang si Janice na kasama ni FPJ (or whom they addressed as Manager) (We were always together with FPJ and we hadn't seen her with him)," echoed Jurado's pronouncements of Olivar and Roman in the TikTok upload.
"Bakit? Kasama ba sila sa hotel? 'Yang si Tom at Gerry, walang magawa sa buhay. Palibhasa, walang mga pelikula. Gusto kasi nilang mapag-usapan. Mga tsismoso, e, mga ke lalaking tao (Why? Were they in the hotel? They have nothing to do in life. It's just because they have no work to do. They would like to be talked about. They're gossip mongers when they're supposedly male)," Janice pointed out angrily.
"Isinumbong ko na 'yang sina Tom at Gerry kay Presidente Rez Cortez (ng Mowelfund). Wag ko na lang daw pansinin dahil wala lang magawa 'yang mga 'yan (I already complained to Rez Cortez. He told me not to mind them because they aren't busy doing anything)," gushed Jurado.
The actress was reportedly dragged into a romance controversy with FPJ in the past.
"Si Coco Martin lang ang nagsabi sa akin na huwag ko nang palakihin ang isyu tungkol kay FPJ. Ito lang namang sina Tom at Gerry ang bumubuhay ng patay (It's Coco Martin who told me not to belabor the issue about FPJ. But these character actors are the ones resurrecting the dead)," jeered Janice.
