Two minors in Tolosa, Leyte didn’t hesitate and immediately returned a wallet containing P5,000 without expecting a reward.

Two minors turned over a wallet they have found to the Tolosa Municipal Police Station without expecting to be able to receive a surprise in return of their good deed.

Mark Jay Verona Nuevas and Errol Capiyoc Saballe returned a pouch containing cash worth around P5,000 which the children returned in full.

In exchange for their good deeds, the owner who wished to remain anonymous, gave 2 sacks of rice and an envelope of cash for each of the two.

Netizens also praised the two for being a breath of fresh air in a time of hardship.

“Deserving of recognition for a good deed, seldom we encounter such behaviour in today’s generation. Dapat tularan, proud to have people like you in our community,” says netizen Emily Advincula.
