Marabong Bridge in Barangay Moguing was temporarily closed to traffic, after a section of the bridge which is currently under construction after being previously damaged last December, collapsed due to floods.
The Burauen local government unit immediately dispatched a team to ensure the safety of the public.
Floods have also occurred along main roads in Quinapondan and Arteche towns, blocking access to those municipalities and hampering search and rescue efforts.

Several towns in Leyte including Palo, Tolosa, Santa Fe, Alangalang, and San Miguel have been subject to floods over the week due to a low-pressure area (LPA) in the Eastern Visayas region. (JKA)
