This 2022 would be one eventful year that we can all be excited of amidst all the obtaining challenges 2021 had brought us.
After all, it’s only the figures and faces of our calendars that have changed, but never our struggles.
How exciting it would be if in the passing of time, the fading of the moment, and the arrival of the new, means the disappearing of the brutal realities of life.
How we wish that in the switching of time they automatically fade into the past, forgotten, gone and lost.
But no. In fact, the forbidding life experience, along with its bliss, even brutishly and stubbornly stay than we realize.
So, as we yet insist on welcoming 2022 rather jovially, let us be mindful however of the unfortunate reality that our challenges will never for one bit diminish by the stroke of time.
On the contrary, they even grow bigger, tougher and harder. Good thing is, in the passing of time, in and through life’s arduous journey, we can grow wiser, smarter and better.
With Covid-19 and its number of mutants here to stay, and maybe stay for long as modern man lives; the devastation and Odette’s horrid aftermath haunting; notwithstanding the usual day to day troubles that makes life even more problematic, we however yet say Happy New Year still!
