I supposed broadcast journalist Jessica Soho, the Sparkle GMA Artists Center and the GMA Network top brass knew that young actress Glaiza de Castro was getting married but they kept it from the public yet because they were cooking up something for her fans, the advertisers and the general audience.

It took almost five months to reveal the great news.

As Glaiza mentioned in her Instagram posts, she thanked Jessica for “perfectly telling our story” and Sparkle, her management agency “for being part of the process.”

As it was, Glaiza, the bride and David Rainey, the groom, got married in October last year in a very idyllic atmosphere (on top of cliff by the river) called the Dunluce Castle in the United Kingdom.

For de Castro, tying the knot wasn’t the pinnacle of any relationship but it was the most wonderful thing in the world to get into.

There were hurdles, the actress admitted but she and David were able to pass them with flying colors although they didn’t stop there. There were other challenges along the way. As Glaiza put it on her IG posts: “It wasn’t easy for us, much like every relationship. We all have our own pattern and design. Marriage isn’t our end goal, it’s just a part of what’s to come. As what @karenthecelebrant had stated;

“Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your root was so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part.
Because this is what love is.”

At the moment, after the wedding and Glaiza’s showbiz commitments, the couple is back to Baler, Aurora for a domesticated life like fixing the interior of their house in the bucolic town.

Best wishes to the Raineys.
