Flip-flopping policies and disingenuous officials

What is there to expect in an environment full of flip-flopping policies and disingenuous governing authorities?

IF there seems growing disbelief now over IATF policies, it is because of its frequently changing and disconcerted bearings, in many instances, on several important concerns that have to do with the ongoing health crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The senators were first heard harking up the futility and obvious absurdity in the use of face shields. Taking serious note of the seemingly valid observations of the state legislators, the President on national TV seemed to have reacted hastily, saying he will order the IATF to get rid of face shields. But in no time, and as unpredictable the president is, he would change position in an instant. And even during the intermediary period, when the public seemed more confused than initially relieved of the earlier presidential statement, the presidential henchmen

left and right were singing contravening tunes.

Apparently, not only that the country is facing the crisis on basic, immediate, and needed medical interference, with its apparent beggary in the vaccine, it too seems incredulously wanting of sound and reasonable policies that are enforceable both to the general public and the many, or other favored few that would oftentimes and otherwise ignore conveniently and flagrantly said policies.

The responsible among the public could be careless of the flip-flopping IATF policies. Aware and conscious, they could very well attend with care their health and safety instead against the still progressing COVID pandemic. They will very well do more in protecting themselves if the government and its officials – local and national – will be less disingenuous in their attitudes towards their policies, and be more concerting and firm, not only on their advocacies but on walking their loud talks.
