Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar Police commended Police Major Leonides Sydiongco of the Tacloban City Police for keeping his police station clean and orderly.
APPRENTLY wanting to see the readiness and preparedness of his men,Philippine INational Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar recently made an unannounced visitin Tacloban City Police Station 1.
During his first command visit in Eastern Visayas, the PNP chief commended Police Major Leonides Sydiongco for keeping his police station clean and orderly.
“Very good! Yan ang dapat gagawin niyo lagi.., hindi lang ito dahil nandito si chief PNP,” he exclaimed.
He noted that he wanted every police station to be clean and orderly both inside and outside when catering to the public’s complaints.
Eleazar has been conducting random visits in police stations nationwide as part of the intensified “cleanliness policy” of the PNP under his leadership.
During his Eastern Visayas trip, the police director also held a command conference at the PNP regional headquarters based in Palo, Leyte and witnessed a program attended by former rebels who surrendered to the government. (JKA)
