The Department of Trade and Industry is the first government agency in the Eastern Visayas to receive the “Safety Seal” certification from DILG.
THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)- 8 yesterday became the first government agency in the region to receive the Safety Seal Certification issued by
the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Inspection by the composite team of the Bureau of Fire Protection and Philippine National Police was conductedto validate the agency’s compliance.
In a statement, the DTI-8 said the certification affirms its religious compliance to the government's minimum public health standards.
The regional trade and industry office said it also used and integrated its contact tracing with staysafe.ph.
DTI-8 is the first government agency in the Eastern Visayas to receive the certification, the agency said.
