IT MIGHT not be widely publicized by the participants themselves but it means that couple Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna had finally tied the knot last week in a very exclusive event.
It all started when Ellen posted on her Instagram a photo of her together with Austin Ramsay, Derek’s son by a previous relationship, and Elias Cruz, Ellen’s son with John Lloyd Cruz.
Adarna captioned the picture with these words: “The only Decent Family Picture (ayaw ko na ng party! Ayaw ko na ng surprises! Pagod nako, pagod na kami!) (I don’t like parties anymore! I don’t like surprises anymore! I am tired! We’re already tired) which she pasted with an emoji and a worded hearty laughter! Hahahah!
It was an indication of a private affair or perhaps a pure family event with some special guests.
Then, there were pictorials of Ellen in her exquisite white gown—obviously a sexy wedding frock.
Of course, a bridal shower was put up and arranged by
designer Gideon Hermosa with many embellishments of a dreamy pre-wedding activity on a Bali-inspired reception with guests in tow.
Gideon explained in his Instagram:
“We brought the gorgeous bride-to-be, @maria.elena.adarna, to her favorite place with this Bali-inspired bridal shower. It's the perfect intimate celebration as she bids farewell to singlehood!
“I will always love a dreamy all-white wedding. The sophistication and elegance with just the right hint of whimsy to tie it all together.
“Instead of bright florals that tropical-themed showers are usually all about, we used a variety of greeneries and matched it with local design elements of beautiful rattan lanterns and bamboo chairs. Bringing in a warmer feel to our intimate set-up.
“Bali is a place of peace and calm for@maria.elena.adarna, and that’s exactly the inspiration we took to design her bridal shower.”
Then, of course, Derek posted in his Instagram, flaunting his suit—as a wedding garb—made for him by fashion designer Bianca Cordero.
He was also photographed consciously with his dad—in his best suit as father of a groom—Arthur Derek Ramsay, Sr. as if ready to keep his son company on his special day.
The mom of Ellen was dressed to the nines to give away her daughter to the man she loves.
Derek, Jr. also announced to all and sundry in cyber that all the boys as his friends were around on his special day.
The actor especially posed candidly with his son Austin on his turf. “The boys are in the house!” he said.
Meanwhile, the most animated and emphatic announcement of Derek to the world was calling Ellen his wife, and here’s his message in toto:
“Cheers to my beautiful future. I love you you my dear wife! @maria.elena.adarna.”
