You know that line “There’s always tomorrow”? Sounds like a hopeful teleserye title. But in real life? Sometimes, tomorrow doesn’t show up. No call, no text—just leaves you hanging like a message seen but never replied to.

Just like the story of Pratik Joshi.

He worked alone in London for six long years—no hugs, only video calls; birthdays celebrated with emoji cakes. His only dream? To finally reunite with his wife and three kids. The guy gave it all. Sacrifice was his second name.

And finally, it happened.

His family boarded a plane to join him abroad. Everyone was thrilled. They said goodbye to their neighbors, packed up the pots and pans in India, and got ready for a new life. Of course, there was the mandatory airplane selfie—everyone smiling like they were in a toothpaste commercial.

But that turned out to be their last photo together.

The plane crashed.

No warnings. No “I love you” texts. No “I’ll hug you the moment you arrive.”

In a single moment, all their dreams—gone.

Boom. It wasn’t just the landing that got cancelled. So did their future.

So, dear Marchanism readers, here’s the brutal truth: Time is not like mobile load. You can’t reload it when it runs out.

And no, it doesn’t come with deadline extensions like your thesis.

So what now? Simple:

Say “I love you,” even if it feels cheesy.

Apologize, even if you think you’re right.

Use that travel fund for actual travel—not just for another Shopee haul.

Laugh—even when the punchline is missing.

Stop saying “next time.”

Dream big, sure. But don’t put all your happiness on layaway for “someday.” Because sometimes, “someday” gets stuck in traffic or just… never arrives.

While you still have time, use it for what’s real, what’s true, and what brings joy.

We’re not really afraid of dying.

We’re afraid of never truly living.

So before you scroll past this, text your loved ones. Tell them you love them.

It’s free.

Unlike time.
