The rains bring back memories.
They burst brains and draw the past.
They kiss yesterdays with a welcome caress.
Each drop of rain not only induces tears or fears but love and devotion as well.
Well, it depends on the people who catch and watch the falling rain, the dripping of the bits and pieces of manna from heaven or the cascading of the waters from the sky to the thirsty soil or the reverberating sound of the rainfall on the roof or the treetops.
Lonely hearts count the rhythm of the pouring pure, silvery grains like pains in the chest.
While happy people play with the splash of shattered bubble balloons like cuddling teddy bears.
Look at reel lovers (they have yet to admit their romance) Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.
Just a few days ago, Kim and Paulo recalled their wet days in the filming of the hit “My Love will Make you Disappear” in Pasig City under the helm of young filmmaker Chad Vidanes.
It’s irresistible to come and share the joy with KimPau.
Paulo remembered last year’s shoots of the film because of the stormy and rainy days these past few weeks mainly because of Habagat or west monsoon and the triumvirate of tropical depressions Crising, Dante and Emong.
These typhoons have plummeted in our areas of responsibility affecting the works in the entertainment industry such as film, TV, stage and multimedia.
Avelino cannot wait to see Kim after the storm.
Here’s ABS-CBN Films Productions’ notes on his reminiscences on the rain.
“The rainy season is here, and Kim Chiu can’t help but look back and reminisce about the drizzly yet unforgettable days of filming ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear.’
“Kim recalled braving countless downpours during filming, including tender moments with co-star Paulo Avelino at the Pasig River Esplanade, as seen on her Instagram page last July 19. The actress also looked back on the joyful bonding with castmates Wilma Doesnt, Nico Antonio, Benj Manalo, and the rest of the Tahanan Homes family.
“I honestly lost track of how many rain scenes we had while filming this movie… but one thing I’ll always remember is how you all showered us with so much love and support,” Kim lovingly said.
When the sun shines, Kim and Paulo will embrace and talk sweetly again.
