In today’s society, we often see violence in various forms—street fights, road rage, and even tragic incidents involving loss of life. Some people wonder if there’s a connection between this violence and popular television programs like Batang Quiapo and Mga Batang Riles. While it might seem that violent media influences behavior, the truth is more complex. It’s not just about the shows we watch; it’s also about our mindset and the energy we project into the world.

Let’s consider how our thoughts and feelings can shape our experiences. Imagine you’re having a peaceful dinner when suddenly, a stranger approaches, looking for a fight. This happened to my friend, a martial artist. Thankfully, he handled it calmly, but it made me think: why did this happen?

I believe that our energy can attract similar energy from others. If someone carries a confident or aggressive demeanor, it might invite conflict. It’s like being a magnet for certain situations. My friend wasn’t looking for trouble, but his mindset and focus on martial arts may have sent out subconscious signals that drew attention. Instead of always thinking of himself as a fighter, he could benefit from focusing on enjoying life and keeping things light.

Similarly, I’ve made a conscious choice to avoid violent sports and media. I realized that immersing myself in content that glorifies violence could inadvertently invite conflict into my own life. This isn’t about being fearful; it’s about being mindful of our surroundings and the influences we allow in. When we indulge in violent themes, we might start attracting aggression into our experiences.

So, how can we change this? The first step is awareness. Are we often dwelling on thoughts of anger or conflict? If so, it’s time for a shift. Instead of imagining worst-case scenarios, we can focus on positivity and peace. Surrounding ourselves with uplifting people and engaging in creative activities can help foster a more peaceful mindset.

Next is intention. What do you want to attract in your life? If you aim for kindness and harmony, let your actions and thoughts reflect those values. When we consciously choose to promote positivity, we create a protective bubble that can help deflect negativity and conflict.

In conclusion, while violent television shows may contribute to a culture that normalizes aggression, the real influence lies within us. Our mindset, thoughts, and the media we consume all play crucial roles in shaping our reality. By being mindful of these factors, we can create a life that reflects peace rather than conflict. Remember, the energy we project into the world often comes back to us. Let’s choose to send out positive vibes and attract the harmony we wish to see.
