How are fathers affected of their relationships with their children is profoundly revealing.

A father and son or a father and daughter relationship tells a lot of truth about mankind’s relationship with its Creator. Humankind is so lucky that despite its tragic fall from bliss and novel purposes in what could have been a perfect environment in the limits of paradise as aptly told in Genesis, it was not left totally neglected and abandoned on its own. But while the seemingly permanent and irreversible consequence of the human fall cannot be any more obvious than what is common in man – the complexities of human experience. The human timeline, whatever that be, is so far a tell-all reality that best describes the complex nature of humankind. What life is now Earth and what will it become on the other side of eternity has something to do with the human fall.

Is a Lie

How hurting neglect can be in the economy of human engagements can’t be any more obvious. The ramifications of failed relationships as something reciprocal are true. It is always mutual. In the accounts of creation, the author has propounded that even God had himself feelings of regrets towards the humankind he made on Earth. The tragic separation between the Father and his creation in mankind is both experientially and intelligently defined. The discerning mind in man can and should be able to appreciate and understand this truth. That mankind and God are inseparable is a lie. In fact, the scripture reveals that in the human fall the glory of God in man is gone; the glorious life on Earth is interrupted, and the God-man relationship is broken. In fact, death as a penalty of sin is and should be interpreted in this context. That mankind and God have been and are separated is a tragic truth humanity today has yet to understand.

The Paradox

Yet the interesting paradox of this revealed truth is wonderfully liberating. That while man and God separation is true and obtaining to present, it would not however stop God from finding ways to restore and redeem back to himself his fallen creation. It was while mankind was wasting his life on his own; while humankind was living on in wanton display of self-imposed disposition, that God effectively demonstrated his love on him regardless. The God of heaven, when he could have conveniently and easily disposed of man who has become inherently sinful and evil, decided to send His only begotten Son to become its willing Savior.

The tragic account of the man Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God dying on the cross of Calvary over 2000 years ago attest to that story of God’s unfailing love towards mankind.
