The Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) has formally received a 30,205-square-meter property donation while also advancing plans to establish a new provincial headquarters in Tayabas City.

The Deed of Donation for the huge property was signed and accepted Tuesday, October 27.

The land was donated by Mrs. Merian H. Reyes, General Manager of Starhorse Shipping Lines, Inc., for the long-term development of police facilities in the province.

Witnessing the ceremony were PBGen Dominic L. Baccay, Regional Director of Police, Regional Office, CALABARZON, and PCol Romulo A. Albacea, QPPO Provincial Director.

Meanwhile, in a related development, PCol Albacea met with Tayabas City Mayor Piwa Lim on Monday, October 26, to discuss the possibility of relocating the Quezon Police Provincial Office to the city.

The city government of Tayabas renewed its commitment to strengthen its partnership with different government agencies to ensure better coordination and service delivery to the public.

These developments collectively represent a significant advancement for the QPPO in its pursuit of establishing modern, responsive, and strategically located facilities that will better serve the people of Quezon Province.
