MOTION IS NOT ACCOMPLISHMENT

Tourism Secretary Christina Franci confuses motion with achievement. In tourism, campaign launches, foreign trips, slogans, and events are inputs, not results.

WHAT REAL ACCOMPLISHMENT MEANS

Success is measurable: higher tourist arrivals, longer length of stay, higher per-tourist spending, and faster recovery than ASEAN competitors such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

COMPETITIVENESS IS THE TRUE TEST

The question is not only whether numbers rose (it didn't), but whether the Philippines gained market share. Falling behind neighbors signals policy failure.

TOURISTS EXPERIENCE REALITY, NOT PRESS RELEASES

Airports, transport, safety, and value for money matter. Marketing only amplifies reality.

RESULTS ARE THE ONLY SCORECARD

If outcomes lag, motion is merely optics not accomplishment.
