Since Rodante Marcoleta was a party-list representative fighting Martin’s attack dogs at the unlamented Quadcom panels, and even up to this time that he was elected senator and fighting the perpetrators of the biggest heist in Philippine history involving the flood control scandal, and also their lawmaker-patrons, the good senator from Pampanga-Tarlac has been asking the authorities this one inconvenient query—where on earth is the West Philippine Sea (WPS)?
Marcoleta couldn’t find it in any official map of the country. International map keepers can only show official maps with the label South China Sea.
The United Nations is the definitive global authority for official world maps used in international law, diplomacy, and statistics. The UN Geospatial Information Section publishes official, globally recognized baseline maps that reflect current boundaries, sovereign territories and geopolitical agreements.
The United Nations GIS notes the area as South China Sea; even Marco Rubio, the big boss of the American propagandists in the PHL, calls it South China Sea and rejects the “Atin Ito” slogan.
In one Senate session, Senator Marcoleta said he followed up with NAMRIA if this agency has already published the official PHL map, and was told this office has still to print one.
Known as a person who does not mince words, a public official who says it that way it is, Senator Rodante Marcoleta says President P-Noy Aquino’s mandated West Philippine Sea is just a figment of the imagination of our officials.
That is exactly what it is.
This is the first week of July, and the American cabal are super active again in raising their flag of victory in connection with the 10-year Hague Arbitration Award on the South China Sea, an arbitration that is sponsored by the Noynoy Aquino administration in conjunction with the United States of America, and which was rejected by China at the very outset.
The cabal, which includes Commodore Tarriela, former justice Carpio, senators Kiko Pangilinan, Erwin Tulfo, Risa Hontiveros, JV Ejercito and others, Akbayan and Atin Ito, etc., are trying to play with the Filipinos’ inherent feeling of nationalism in drumming up the South China Sea issue and painting China—rather unfairly—as an aggressor nation that bullies its neighbors.
The US cabal will have its day this July, with meetings, summits and exclusive forums, covered by Rappler and the mainstream media which are all owned and/or operated by US and PHL oligarchic interests.
These paid propagandists are falling into the trap of an American empire on its death throes, dreaming of another war in the Asia-Pacific to bolster the profits of its military-industrial complex.
