Why is this item headed with politics when actors Megan Young and Mikael Daez aren't politicians?
Why not politics when politics is also defined as everyday life?
Go find out from Webster dictionary the meanings of politics and it isn't only government, Laguna local government as an example, or governance.
It is also the ordinary actions, reactions, interactions etc. of people in a particular society.
And society is where Megan and Mikael live, reside and thrive.
Even dreams are political and social, as they are personal, too.
Dreams have setting or even time no matter solitary as the dreamer in the surreal world.
Megan and Mikael have dreamt of anything, especially good ones, to happen to them.
They, definitely, had dreams at night apart from daydreaming.
They dreamt, alright, of raising a family.
That dream will come true anytime as they know they are a couple and eventually will be first time parents.
The dream of having a child palpably will come along.
Obviously, the photos circulating in social media that Megan has given birth are false.
According to the 2013 Miss World, she is still very much pregnant by the time this news comes out.
“That’s fake news,” exclaimed Young.
This is plain and simple, politics.
Some captions of the photos where Megan is cuddling a baby named Julia are very false since in the ultrasound, a baby boy is expected by the couple in their most glorious moments.
Of course, excited as they are, every second of the day, the couple would want to hug their angel.
Megan is still heavy with their child.
Mikael is always the inspired, lovable and committed hubby and a future dad.
The couple is dearly interacting with one another in all spheres of life.
Meanwhile, it might be real but my meeting with Dan Fernandez was dreamlike for I haven't seen him except virtually on free TV during QUAD-Committee hearings in Congress.
It was on April Fool’s Day that I saw him aboard the campaign sortie float parked in front of San Pedro Public Market.
He was looking down when I called him.
"Dan," I greeted him as he gazed up at me.
In my ball adjustable cap, shorts and an untidy shirt and cap, he recognized me.
We shook hands.
"O, kumusta? Saan ka ngayon nakatira (Oh, how are you? Where do you live now?)," he asked.
"Dito (Here in San Pedro)," I replied.
I was in a hurry to go inside the market so I couldn't prolong our talk.
Dreamlike as it was a fancy meeting in the most crowded and throbbing place.
Dan and I have the longest and most memorable relationship as subject and author writing about him in any circumstances.
Even when he was just in college taking up optometry at CEU in the early 80s I was a frequent guest at their house-cum clinic in Sampaloc until he ventured into show business.
Or when he, siblings and cousins were still in Project 6.
I was also his talent manager when he was launched as an action star by El Nino Films.
Dan and I have gone a long way that I could call him on a first-name basis, Dan.
