To clear issues and names of people mentioned in the public pronouncements of entertainment writer and vlogger Cristy Fermin that actor Dominic Roque stays in a condo unit situated in a posh location and owned by a rich politician not from the Senate or Congress, owns a gas station given to him by a wealthy gay and verbalizes his disagreements with Bea Alonzo on a prenuptial agreement, Fernandez & Singson Law Offices issues on his behalf an official statement.
First, Dominic’s legal counsel said that Cristy’s announcements on air are not proper. “We strongly condemn the malicious and defamatory public statements of Ms. Fermin,” said the statement.
Cristy initially broadcast in her vlogs that Roque lives in a plushy condominium unit which is owned by a rich politician who isn’t from the Senate or Congress.
A governor was implied in the no-name names’ stories of the controversial entertainment show host.
In the past, Joey Salceda, now congressman of Albay, was implicated in a showbiz scandal about a male star who was romantically linked with him.
At the time, Congressman Salceda was still the governor of his province but nothing came out of the issue after it was feasted on by rumormongers.
In the Dominic Roque-Bea Alonzo fiasco, Salceda was again thrown into the limelight with one unverified vlog visually inserted his video clip/photo to suggest he was the governor sexually linked with Dominic and allegedly the cause of the BeaDom breakup which is farthest from the truth.
Even if Fermin didn’t mention the name of the owner of the condo unit being occupied by Roque, still, Dom’s camp has to clarify the true identity and circumstances of the condo occupancy.
According to Roque’s legal team, the owner of the condo unit being occupied by their client is Bullet Jalosjos.
Known to many, Bullet, the Mayor of Dapitan City, is the son of politician Romy Jalosjos, Jr. of the famous Dakak Resort and owner of Television and Production Entertainment (TAPE) which produces the daily noontime show on GMA Network, “Tahanang PInakamasaya,” the former “Eat Bulaga.”
Bullet’s mom is singer Lourna Pal.
The official statement read: “He is embarrassed and apologizes to Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and his family for being dragged into the public conversation because of the malicious, defamatory public innuendos of Ms. Fermin.”
Another person dragged into the controversy was Quezon City 4th District Congressman Jesus “Bong” Suntay who was unnamed by Fermin but she said the rich politician gave Dominic a gasoline station.
Dom’s legal panel’s statement said: “By making such a statement, Ms. Fermin made the innuendo that unreasonably casts doubt on the sexuality of former Congressman Bong Suntay…”
Lastly, the Fernandez & Singson Law Offices cleared that there was no fights between Dom and Bea over a premarital agreement.
“He never fought nor had a disagreement over a prenuptial agreement.
“Reckless statements relating to the alleged disagreement over a pre-nuptial agreement between them are not only unverified but merely based on speculations intended to produce a negative image on the parties concerned,” the statement concluded.
