BRAVO to Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro for standing up against that silly Department of Health order of not announcing vaccine brand.

DOH is now Department of Hide for it’s bend to hiding information from the public.

Corruption in that agency thrived because transparency is never practiced.

This government agency that is home to policies doctors follow are better known for doctoring records to enrich some of its officials. Remember PhilHealth?

One time in a gathering, an opinion writer from a leading tabloid said, some doctors at the DOH are certainly lucky. Not even the worst scandals have brought any of them to jail.

Another disagreed saying that dentists are a lot luckier than medical doctors and even lawyers.

When a lawyer makes a mistake, the mistake is sometimes left hanging in the air. Medical docs, their errors sometimes get to 6 feet underground.

Dentists? When the dentist is in error, he simply charges you another fee to replace it.

I overheard this, there is an upside in being poor. If you’re poor, the doctor will cure you faster.

Sent to me by a good friend, a tireless traveler, an environmentalist and a fraternity brother, Bimbo Cabidog.

“Life is a constant journey. And that’s all there is. No success, no failure, just a continuity of the human experience, moment by moment.
“When you think you’re losing, you’re actually inching forward to the finish.

“Whether on a jet plane or a train, life is constant leaving. And as the song goes, don’t know when I’ll be back again.
“One wit to carry is not to make things hard for you. Happiness is gotten effortlessly. You don’t seek it. It finds you.”

“Hocus-PCOs” gets another lease on life as the Commission on Elections decides to reject President Digong’s order to find another service supplier in the management of the country’s elections.

This new lease on life means P1.04 billion in new contracts to Smartmatic.

Another good friend and idol or Lodi in the new gen language, Jarius Bondoc, tells in his Gotcha column at the Philippine Star of the story why we should not expect improvements in our election system.

It appears our election officials are fixated at fixing.

My neighbor would always say “If you’re smart and may atik, Smartmatic will fix the job for you. Don’t blame them. They got in by fixing.”
