Two thousand cops took over the 30-hectare compound of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ in Davao City in Mindanao in an effort to serve warrant of arrest to the KOJC head.

News reports say one died from heart attack and several others were brought to hospitals for shock treatment.

On-the-spot radio coverage said about a thousand of students of the schools operated by KOJC ended in a face off where many students were hurt and arrested.

“These young members of KOJC expressed willingness to die to defend their “kingdom” if not their rights from the brutal force of the law enforcers,” said a radio report.

Over two thousand policemen, half of them fully armed for shooting war and the other half, with truncheons and shields to arrest one person, resulting in death and shocked KOJC members.

That’s not an overkill! Even Sen. Bato is not saying anything on this firepower that besieged KOJC.

This is one sick incident that we cannot just laugh off.

Another sick joke, courtesy of the government agency assigned to map out the direction this country, will make most Filipinos happy.

The joke is selling the idea that Filipinos can survive on a P64 a day budget.

Netizens went to town with all kinds of creative memes, putting to ridicule this insult to the intelligence if not the health of every Filipino. These included suggestions on how to survive and live by the NEDA idea of living healthy on a P21 budget per meal

Suggestion: Half cup of rice, half of Lucky Me noodles , salt, and two thin slices of patola in miswa soup.

That is for each of meal of your life in the Philippines.

The joke for the day: A Filipino from the middle class got hospitalized after an accident on the road.

After three days in coma, the doctor tells him, “I have good news and bad news for you.”

Patient: “Tell me the bad news first.”

The bad news is “There was an error in the amputation. I cut off the good leg.”

Patient:“OMG. That’s very bad. And what’s the good news?”

“The bad leg is now getting better,” said the doctor.

Just like the NEDA, always wrong moves. No wonder this country is in a mess.

###

Nurse: “Doc, everytime I take the BP of this patient, his BP shoots up. What do I do?”

Doctor, “Try blindfolding him next time you do the checking of the BP.”
