At the last minute, the decision was altered.

Instead of a solo Miss Universe Philippines-Laguna entry to the 2025 Miss Universe Philippines, the Miss U PH-Laguna org has spoken.

Unlike the previous years when and where only a single representative of Laguna Province was entered in the Miss Universe Philippines, this year's contest, not only two but three aspirants from the province will be fielded and how.

Therefore, we don't only place our bet solely on Eloisa Jauod, Miss Universe Philippines San Pedro, Laguna to represent the province in the forthcoming national pageant as earlier reported but to the additional two reps as well.

Aside from Jauod, the other two contestants are Rendelle Ann Caraig of Los Banos and Yllana Marie Aduana of Siniloan who were chosen from their respective town representation recently.

The more, the merrier, indeed.

According to the Miss Universe Philippines-Laguna, the three lovely ladies are truly the pride of the province.

"Pilipinas, meet the phenomenal queens of Laguna. These exceptional women are not only representing their province but carrying the hopes and dreams of the entire nation as they compete for Miss Universe Philippines.

"Their dedication, grace, and unwavering spirit embody the very best of the Filipina in Laguna. Let's rally behind them and show our unwavering support as they strive for this prestigious title," said the group.

The policies of Miss U Philippines (MUPH) have apparently changed by the taking over of its new management from the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. years ago.

The current policy involves the participation of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of the respective contestant. This allows the local government to enhance the chance of its representative in the competition. It also has helped in the promotion of tourism and environment in the specific areas of concerns.

Good luck to Rendelle Ann, Eloisa and Yllana.
