Interior and Local Governments Secretary Benhur Abalos, administers the oath to San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora as the new chair of the Regional Peace and Order Council-NCR, at the MMDA Head Office in Pasig City.
The RPOC plays an integral role in the government's grassroots campaign against criminality, illegal drugs, insurgency and violent extremism. It becomes an instrument for stronger collaboration between the administration and the LGUs in carrying out projects related to peace and order.
