As Miss San Pedro, Laguna and one of the three representatives of the province in the forthcoming Miss Universe Philippines, Eloisa Jauod has taken herself to several fashion shows and personal appearances to advance her discipline on the ramp and beauty contest stage before she embarks on the official international pageantry.
Aside from her private tutorials on public display of her charm, wit, intelligence and beauty, Eloisa has been getting reactions, opinions and assessments from the audience about her performances.
"Napuna ko nga na si Eloisa ay bukas sa mga puna ng mga tao sa,kanyang pagkilos at pagsasalita kasama na rin 'yong kanyang pagdadala ng damit. 'Yong pagkalahatan niyang rapport sa mga tao (i noticed that she is open to comments or even criticisms of the people about her movements and talking including her way of dressing. Her overall audience relations)," observed young fashion designer Erick Valena who was assigned to dress Jauod up for the bridal show "Bridal Expo Metro South" in Festival Mall in Alabang recently.
Erick was part of the bridal show with some of the youngest fashion designers in the Philippines.
"Eloisa is a very cooperative participant in the show. I love her. She is one of my dream models," remarked Valena who went all the way from Lopez, Quezon where he has just opened a fashion house in the rural community.
According to Erick, when he saw Eloisa for the first time, he was impressed with her regal bearing.
"Tamang-tama sa kanyang pagsali sa (It was in time for joining) Miss Universe Philippines," smiled Valena who profusely thanked his chance of dressing up the MUP aspirant.
He informed OpinYon Laguna he is a resident as well of Muntinlupa City, the neighboring town of San Pedro.
"Nakikita ko, malakas ang laban ni Eloisa sa (I can see her winning streak in the) 2025 Miss Universe Philippines," opined Valena.
"Maraming magagandang babae at puwedeng pang-beauty contest sa San Pedro. Madalas ako sa San Pedro kaya alam ko (There are a lot of beautiful women and beauty queen potentials in San Pedro. I frequent San Pedro that's why I am familiar with them)," he said.
"Madaling bihisan si Eloisa. Hindi siya maarte (She is easy to dress up. She isn't fussy)," quipped Erick.
