As Teresa, the caregiver of the Chinese demented woman in the film "Her Locket" which premiered at the 2024 Sinag Maynila recently, young thespian Elora Espano was praised for her effective acting.
She was even compared to National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Nora Aunor.
"Naku po, wala po ako sa kalingkingan ni Ns. Nora Aunor. Nakakahiya po kung ikukumpara ako sa kanya (Oh, no! I might suffer from comparison because I haven't achieved even a dash of what she has done. It's shameful to be compared to her)," Elora coyly said.
The sound of their respective names is alike--Nora and Elora.
But Espano's thespic talent can match any actress worth her salt.
As a matter of fact, Elora was a crowd drawer during the premiere showing of the film at Gateway Cinema 18.
She was indeed a gem of a talent.
Elora stars in the autobiographical movie with Rebecca Chuaunsu, Rolly Inocencio, Boo Gabunida, Benedict Cua, Sofie Ng, Zoey Villamangca, Tommy Alejandrino, Francis Mata, among others.
E.J. Tiglao helmed Espano and was impressed by her.
