Ginebra San Miguel officially welcomes Yassi Pressman into the company as the 2023 Calendar girl.
Actress-model Yassi Pressman is the new face of Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI) as they officially introduce her as its 2023 Calendar Girl.
A private event was held for the unveiling of the brand’s new muse attended by friends from media, social media celebrities, GSMI dealers, and other brand ambassadors.
Speaking with the media, Yassi expressed her delight and admitted she was surprised when she was chosen to be the newest member of the GSMI family.
“Being a part of such a great legacy is something that is going to be a milestone in my life,” said Yassi. “It’s really something special to be part of a company that serves world-class quality products, and it means a lot to me that they chose me to be a part of the brand.”
This is the first time in more than two years that GSM held a face-to-face event to launch Yassi as its calendar girl and to formally welcome her to the GSMI family.
"We are excited to finally hold our Ginebra San Miguel 2023 Calendar Girl launch live again. For us, this launch also signals the atmosphere for next year. The pandemic has affected many Filipinos, but now is the time to recover—armed with Bagong Tapang, to dream and hope again, and to spread that positivity to others," said Marketing Manager Ron Molina.
Staying true to the “Never Say Die” mantra, Yassi needed to prepare herself physically and mentally to become an ideal Ginebra calendar girl, keeping herself fit both outside and within.
“Of course, there were times that I also had to give in to my cravings, but at the end of the day, I knew my priority was to be stronger, healthier, and happier,” Pressman added.
Yassi joins the company of previous Ginebra calendar girls including Marian Rivera (2009 and 2014), Anne Curtis (2011), Solenn Heusaff (2012), Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach (2019), Sanya Lopez (2020), and Chie Filomeno (2022).
