In fact, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the rains brought by enhanced monsoon winds last Wednesday exceeded the amount or rain recorded during "Ondoy": 461.4 millimeters in just six hours, more than the 341.3 mm recorded during the 2009 onslaught.
