Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro Herbosa leads the celebration of the National Bike to Work Day held at Centris Open Grounds and Lung Center of the Philippines last Wednesday, November 29.
The event aims to promote cycling as a healthier, more cost-efficient and sustainable form of transportation. President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. has declared November 30, the last working day of the month, as “National Bike-to-Work Day” to raise public awareness of the viability of cycling as a mode of transportation and promote active transport in the Philippines.
