‘Sa Lungsod ng Biñan, kababaihan ay kinakalinga!”
That was the rallying cry of the city government of Biñan, Laguna as it launched a series of activities to commemorate National Women’s Month this March.
Highlighting the vital contributions of its womenfolk in advancing the city’s socio-economic progress, the city’s “Big Three” leaders – Mayor Arman Dimaguila, Vice Mayor Gel Alonte, and Representative Len Alonte – along with other city officials unleashed a series of programs and activities advocating the welfare of the Biñanense woman.
"Mula noon hanggang ngayon, malaki na ang narating natin sa pagpapatunay sa kontribusyon nating mga kababaihang Biñanense," was how Lourdes Dimaguila, head of the Biñan City Gender and Development Office (GAD), said in her official message for National Women's Month.
"Hindi ito natatapos sa ating pamilya; bagkus, nagkakaroon tayo ng panahon para tayo ay magbigay ng pansin at tulong sa ating mga kababayan."
