After more than a year of absence from the airwaves, noontime TV darling Willie Revillame is set to make a comeback.
In a recent social media livestream, Revillame got emotional as he bid goodbye to his former show, "Wowowin," which had aired on GMA 7 since 2015.
"Salamat, Wowowin, for almost seven years, araw-araw ko kayong kasama sa GMA.
The noontime host has signed up with MQuest Ventures Inc. for his new show, "Wil to Win," which will air on TV5. The network has also hosted his other shows, "Willing Willie" and "Wowowillie," from 2010 to 2013.
"Magsisimula po ang programa ng Linggo. Kung anong date, abangan ninyo. Alam niyo kung bakit? It's a family day. Iyong Linggong iyon, makakasama namin kayo.
As of press time, Revillame and TV5 have yet to announce when "Wil to Win" will officially start airing.
