After cursing the politicians involved in anomalous transactions while the projects for the common men are substandard and easily torn apart, gay comic Vice Ganda cautioned the protesters, celebrities or not, in the "Trillion Peso March" at the EDSA People Power Monument about being kind to these unscrupulous public officials.
"Mga salaula at mga baboy sila (They are filth like pigs," shouted Vice in disgust.
According to her, these boorish individuals don't deserve their kindness.
Ganda lambasted these so-called corrupt public servants and encouraged the rallyists to be more indignant towards them not only now but as long as nothing is left of them.
The TV hostess likened these corrupt politicians to murderers.
She couldn't help comparing and contrasting these scoundrels to terrorists.
"Ang korap na pulitiko ay higit pa sa mamamatay-tao! Ang korapsyin ay higit pa sa terorismo! Ang terorista, namimili lamang ng panahon at lugar kung kailan aatake! Pero ang mga magnanakaw sa Pilipinas, walang pinipiling araw! Araw-araw nila tayong ninanakawan! At ang inaatake ng mga terorista ay 'yong iba ang paniniwala pero ang mga korap, kapwa Pilipino, kapwa lahi ang ninanakawan! Kaya hindi tayo puwede lang sumuko nang gani-ganito (A corrupt politician is more than a murderer. Corruption is more than terrorism. Terrorists judiciously choose the time and place of attack but thieves in the Philippine government strike anytime, anywhere. They rob us every day. Terrorists attack those whose beliefs are different from theirs but the corrupt politicians rob their fellow Filipinos. Therefore, we don't give up just like that!)," elucidated the comedian.
Then she dared the President of the Republic of the Philippines.
"Hinahamon ka namin, Pangulong Bongbong Marcos! Kung gusto mong magkaroon ng magandang legasiya ang pangalan mo, ipakulong mo ang lahat ng magnanakaw! Nakatingin kami sa'yo, Pangulong Bongbong Marcos at inaasahan ka namin hindi dahil idol ka namin kundi dahil sinusuwelduhan ka namin, inaasahan namin na tutuparin mo ang iniuutos naming mga employer mo! Kami ang nagpapasahod sa'yo (We dare you, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.! If you want an enduring legacy, jail all the thieves in government! We are looking your way. We trust in you not because we idolize you but because we are the ones paying your salary. We hope that you will fulfill what we are ordering you as your employers)," gushed Vice, Jose Vicetal in real life.
Ganda said that intimidation of the state on its people is already passe.
"Tapos na ang panahon na natatakot tayo sa gobyerno! Takutin natin ang gobyerno dahil nasasaatin ang kapangyarihan (Our fear of the government is over. Let us intimidate the government because the power rests in us!)," she explained.
