Nine years ago, comic Vic Sotto and actress-TV host Pauleen Luna as newly wed couple moved into their beautiful love nest in idyllic Santa Rosa City.

It is an abode very ideal for the loving and caring Vic and Pauleen.

Their fans were happy and excited about the conjugal ownership of the two in the bucolic city (an oxymoron?).

Many wanted to have a glimpse of the property and so they sought the help of the media to connect them to, at least, vicariously or virtually bring them to the much talked about family home of the Sottos.

Consequently, it was the husband and wife's generosity to the general public that allowed multimedia outlets to cover the huge two-storey-house in the suburb to inspire and get some ideas for the outsider to build their ideal home as well.

Television, radio and the print media as well as online news were cooperative with the couple in bringing the wonderful residence to the interested party.

At the moment, there are quarters that are privy to the Sottos who are saying that their million-net worth possession is for sale.

How true is this?

According to one witness, Vic and Pauleen want to dispose of it for some practical reasons.

The Sotto family is getting bigger with the birth of Mochi, the youngest of the brood.

Tali, the first-born daughter of Bossing and Pauleen, is growing up very fast.

Vic has a daily show on GMA Network as he has to be on time in the studio of "Eat Bulaga."

Travelling from Santa Rosa City to the big city is no joke.

The traffic in the southern part of Luzon is unpredictable as the access to the diversion roads direct to Santa Rosa have yet to be completed.

This brings to mind the mobile situation of controversial broadcaster Angelique Lazo.

Angelique lives in Santa Rosa as well.

For practical purposes, Jik (Angelique's pet name).

Lazo has a daily Radio Veritas program in the morning and a newscast at People's Television (PTV) Channel 4 every 1 pm.

What Jik has been doing is she just stays in her Laguna digs over the weekend except for some unavoidable commitment on Saturdays and Sundays and commutes to Manila at the break of Monday dawn.

Most weekdays, Angelique stays with her parents at their ancestral house in Quezon City.

That's pragmatism for her daily movement.

By the way, Vic and Jik are cousins.
