The University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) has once again demonstrated its academic excellence as it secured 5th spot in the latest EduRank rankings.
UPLB came in fifth in the country, 696th in Asia, and 2422nd in the world.
This achievement shows that it is one of the best schools in the country, especially in the fields of natural sciences, agriculture, forestry, and veterinary medicine.
EduRank assessed colleges and universities based on their research output, external recognition, and the influence of their alumni.
They reviewed more than 84,700 academic papers and 944,000 citations from 229 universities in the Philippines.
This is a significant achievement for UPLB, as it demonstrates their commitment to academic excellence, the development of innovative concepts, and global competition.
