Rep. Delos Santos urged owners of prominent buildings and local providers to assist Ukraine.

Rep. Alfred Delos Santos welcomed the desire of Ukraine in opening an embassy in the Philippines.

Delos Santos urged the owners of prominent office buildings and upscale residences to provide the Ukrainian government with discounted and preferential rates given the country’s limitations.

Additionally, local providers of equipment, furniture, and amenities are also urged to donate their services and products to Ukraine.

At this crucial point in its history, extending goodwill to Ukraine goes well beyond simple financial sense. Corporate social responsibility and moral business go hand in hand.

One of the top exporters of wheat worldwide is Ukraine. The golden yellow portion of the Ukrainian flag stands for the golden wheat grains that represent Ukraine's farms and farmers.

Supporting Ukraine will be appreciated on a global scale because it has been essential to other nations, and its situation calls for a helping hand.

With that, the Philippines should help Ukraine recover when the current war is over. The Philippines may not be rich in capital, but it can help by means of Filipino workers who can rebuild the homes, buildings, and facilities destroyed during the war.

“We also have many peace educators and law experts who can help renew the democratic systems in Ukraine. We also have teachers and health professionals who can revive the health care and education systems of Ukraine.” Delos Santos concluded.
