Weather Specialist Ana Clauren of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) shows the latest position of Tropical Depression Egay, at the weather forcasting center in Quezon City last Friday, July 21.
Tropical Depression Egay has formed over the Philippine Sea and is moving westward with maximum sustained winds of 70 kilometers per hour and is expected to make landfall over Northern Luzon today, Monday. PAGASA declared Signal No. 1 over Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Calayan Islands. The public is advised to take precautionary measures against possible flooding, landslides, and strong winds.
