The World Mission Society Church of God from South Korea conducts its “Hope Forest” tree-planting event, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), inside the La Mesa Eco Park in Quezon City Thursday (June 27, 2024).
According to church leaders, the activity, in which their members planted narra saplings, is part of their celebration of their 60th founding anniversary. The La Mesa Watershed Reservation, covering over 2,659 hectares, is considered as the last remaining large-scale rainforest in Metro Manila.
