Workers are seen performing their duties at the construction site of the MRT-7 Tandang Sora Station located along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, March 23, 2023.

As of the first quarter of this year, the construction progress of the MRT-7 has reached 60%, and it is anticipated to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2025. The 23km-long elevated line will span from North Avenue, Quezon City, to San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, with 14 stations along the way. Construction on this new railway line began in April 2016, and it is set to provide a faster commuting option for residents of Quezon City, Caloocan City, Bulacan, and nearby areas to travel to the city center compared to road transportation.
