Phivolcs has warned of possible renewed activities of Taal Volcano and advised the public to stay away from its vicinity.
PHIVOLCS has reported that Taal Volcano has recorded 21 tremors last night, in yet another display of restlessness that does not bode well for residents in the area.
Apart from the quakes, volcanic fluids and ash erupted 1500 meters high in the southwest area of the volcano.
The agency said Taal Volcano stays at Alert Level 2 and reminded the public to avoid approaching the volcano due to the threat of eruption, volcanic earthquakes, weak ashfall, and volcanic gas eruption.
Phivolcs also reminded civil aviation authorities to advise pilots to avoid flying planes near the crater of the volcano due to the threat of ash and volcanic eruption.
Phivolcs has been closely monitoring the Taal Volcano due to its active volcanic activity as a result of its past eruptions.
