Tayabas City Mayor Lovely Reynoso received for their local government the Green Banner Seal of Compliance Award during the 2023 Calabarzon Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony in Santa Rosa City in Laguna.
For three consecutive years, Tayabas The City has been a recipient of the seal making it part of the Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner on Nutrition (CROWN) Contenders.
The awarding rites acknowledged the exemplary contribution of Government Sectors and Nutrition Workers in the implementation of Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition 2017-2022.
Other finalists included: Marinela Zaporteza-Chong, finalist for Regional Outstanding City Nutrition Action Officer; Judith Naynes of Brgy. Alsam, also a finalist for Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar, and Barangay Dapdap, in Tayabas City is the finalist for Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Committee.
